Rabindra Puri is a Nepali heritage conservationist and architect known for restoring and revitalizing traditional Newari architecture across Nepal, especially in the Kathmandu Valley. With a background in law, fine arts, history, and management, he shifted his career to focus on heritage preservation after participating in the Patan Museum restoration project in the early 1990s. His restoration of historic structures such as the Namuna Ghar gained national and international recognition, including a **UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Conservation Award honourable mention** in 2004. Puri has completed dozens of restoration projects, preserving cultural identity through traditional design, craftsmanship, and community-oriented heritage initiatives.
